Street Light Outage
Austin Bluffs Parkway,
Union Blvd. to Brenner Place

As the Austin Bluffs Parkway widening project progresses into its next phase of construction, a portion of roadway in Segment 2, from Union Blvd. to Brenner Place, is without functioning street lights. Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution especially when merging onto or off of the Union Blvd. ramp. Night time travel may be more difficult and alternate routes are advised.

This phase widens the final three segments of Austin Bluffs Boulevard.
The Construction Schedule

Construction work already visible in the corridor included early relocation of existing utilities by Colorado Springs Utilities and Century Link in advance of roadway construction. Initial roadway construction activities will include locating existing utilities and installing project construction signs along the project corridor. Prior to starting each phase of construction, the project team will communicate and coordinate details of upcoming work to area businesses and homeowners. Access to businesses and homes will be maintained at all times.

This $22.5M construction project, funded entirely by PPRTA, has an estimated completion date of December 2014.
